Plenum Slots
The HIDD plenum slot diffusers comprise vertical downblow center sections into the HISD diffuser. The 24-gauge galvanized steel construction makes these diffusers durable, while the drawn neck prevents air leakages making it a great addition to air systems.
- Center down-blow section includes “ice tong”-shaped pattern controllers
- Comes with an optional plaster frame (PF) to accommodate sheetrock and plaster ceiling applications
- Curved blade pattern controller helps in effective air distribution
Product Application
HIDD plenum slot diffusers offer a host of features and make an excellent addition to your HVAC systems. They deliver high performance and are a cost-effective solution as they are easy to install into an existing system. They also help reduce temperature gradients and increase the overall comfort. These are perfect for classrooms in schools and universities.
Features
- Supply slots with contoured non-adjustable blades located on both ends of diffuser
- Available lengths are 24”, 36”, 48”, and 60”
- The diffuser has a single slot configuration with 3/4” slot width and shall not exceed 7” in height
- Optional factory mounted T-bars are 1” wide
- On option LT0 (no T-bars), center channels are provided on 2, 3, and 4 slot units (models SVPS, ITPS & PSDR)
- Earthquake tabs (ET) are available as an option. The standard is 2 tabs per diffuser
- Center down blow section (adjustable) provides vertical airflow for problem areas with pattern controllers which have 180-degree adjustability and shall include 1/4” thick internal insulation
- Construction consists of a 24-gauge galvanized steel plenum and provide a drawn neck to prevent air leakage
- Optional plaster frame (PF) available to accommodate sheetrock and plaster ceiling applications
- The diffusers are designed for standard lay-in T-bar ceiling systems
- Optional inlet damper (ID) is shipped loose for field installation
- Standard finish is Black (BL) exposed surfaces and for pattern controllers with white optional tees
