The AVJS diffuser is constructed with a deep outer flange to minimize ceiling smudging. It provides a horizontal ceiling pattern and a vertical down throw pattern. The discharge pattern can be adjusted in three different ways for maximum versatility.

Product Application

Our AVJS diffusers serve as an excellent addition to your air distribution system. They provide a remarkable horizontal ceiling pattern for cooling but can also be easily adjusted for a vertical down throw pattern for heating and spot cooling. The excellent design incorporates a deep outer cone which minimizes ceiling smudging. AVJS are perfect for spaces which require large volumes of conditioned air like malls and convention halls.

Center core assembly is adjustable for different air patterns and removable for easy duct access
Model AVJS has deep outer cone to minimize ceiling smudging
Comes with 360-degree discharge pattern
Finish is White (WH) electrocoat in an anodic acrylic paint, baked at 315°F for 30 minutes with a pencil hardness of HB to H
Round butterfly damper (RBD, RBN) is available as accessory
The diffuser also offers round mounted radial blade damper (RRD, RRN) as an accessory

A retainer (safety) cable will be provided on all diffusers with a neck size of 12” or greater to allow the inner core assembly to hang during maintenance
Dampers are ordered separately and shipped loose for field installation
The inner core assembly can be removed as one unit and repositioned by adjusting screws
The manufacturer provides published performance data tested in accordance with the ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70-1991
Round opposed blade damper (ROD, RON) is optional
Optional round damper must be operable from the face of the diffuser
